Ingridients

1/2 oz Irish Whiskey

1/2 oz Bailey's Irish Cream

1 Gunniess Beer

Steps

  1. Add Bailey's then Irish Whiskey to shot glass. Pour slowly to create the layered effect. Pro tip: Pogues Irish Whiskey, try something new this year.
  2. Drop the shot into a pint glass filled about three-quarters of the way with Gunniess beer.
  3. Chug immidiatley.
    1. Not your style? Mix all ingridients into a glass and enjoy, it will taste the same.

History

The Irish Car Bomb was invented in 1979 by Charles Burke Cronin Oat. Oat's is the former owner of Wilson's Saloon in Norwich, Connecticut. Originally called the Irish shot and over the next couple of decades it shifted it's name to the Irish Car Bomb officially. Today, it is a very popular drink associated with St. Patrick's Day.
