We're kicking it up a few notches. Our portals need to enable customer to visualize their results, get answers to questions, identify trends and segment their markets to optimize their goals. It's simplifying a complex environment to make it easy to use, but still enabling power users to take full advantage of all the data that's available.

We are looking for a portal developer to implement that type of portal and necessary back-end functionality (on a LAMP stack).

BottleRoom 3 is an early stage start-up that is launching a revolutionary marketing service that's going to disrupt the retail liquor industry using our app, IoT, big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and all the other hot tech startup buzz words.  OK, actually we are using all the above and think we're going to be huge.

    • Consumers with a virtual VIP room to try out new products and save money;
    • Store Owners the ability to deliver personalized service increase revenue-per-square-foot with minimal effort and thereby increasing traffic & revenue;
    • Distributors & Manufacturers the ability to reach out to directly to consumers who would like their products via our automated personal recommendations.

This is a part-time position,, working remote, and unpaid at this time.

Part-time internship focused on financial analysis such as business modeling and valuations. This is a great opportunity to be part of a start up that is in growth mode with a wide variety of potential tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The following are likely tasks as well as other operational tasks as assigned.

    • Create revenue models at the micro, metropolitan and national levels and refine through sensitivity analysis.

    • Create cash flow model. The task includes researching input parameters and generating potential scenarios.

    • Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and (with assistance) live dashboard. As an exercise, write a report on the meaning of KPIs and their trends.

    • Market analysis.

    • Valuation and supporting material for investment rounds.



REQUIRED SKILLS



    • Drive to get things fixed

    • Strong work ethic

    • Solid communication skills, written and verbal

    • Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.

    • Retail experience a plus



WORK HISTORY/QUALIFICATIONS


A minimum of 6 months of experience doing financial modeling for an organization, particularly in a start up environment.

 

Additional work experience (financial or otherwise) a definite plus.

EDUCATION


Minimum of three years towards a business, financial or related degree.
